Can we please pray for all the people in the Malaysian Flight to Beijing?
Be thankful for what you have and hug your loved ones. Say “I love you” to your loved ones. Because those people will probably never be able to do that again. Hopefully, they’ll be fine and get on to land quickly. Pray for…
MH370, please, give us a sign that youre up there, give us a sign that youre down there in the sea! Please.
The brave pilot of MH370 must not go unnoticed. We find out just how passionate Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah is about flying.

Hopes and prayers for all on board on MH370. For those making ignorant comments, Malaysian Airlines is one of the world’s best airlines, it has only had 2 fatal crashes in their 41 year history. Please don’t be insensitive and say you’ll never go on board Malaysian Airlines. Malaysian Airlines should not take the blame because life is unpredictable. Things happen in this world that we can’t control. Right now, all we can do is pray for the passengers’ safety and for all their loved ones waiting for them to arrive.
A Malaysia Airlines flight carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew lost contact with air traffic controllers early on Saturday en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, the airline said in a statement.
"Malaysia Airlines is currently working with the authorities who have activated their search-and-rescue teams to locate the aircraft," it said.
Flight MH 370, operating a Boeing B777-200 aircraft departed Kuala Lumpur at 12.21 a.m. (1621 GMT Friday) and had been expected to land in the Chinese capital at 6.30 a.m. (2230 GMT) the same day.
The airline said the flight had lost contact with Malaysian air traffic controllers at 2.40 a.m., just over two hours into the flight.
China’s CCTV said 160 Chinese nationals were onboard the flight, according to microblogging website Weibo.
Chinese state TV also reported there had not been any reports received yet about any aircraft crashed in Chinese waters.
State news agency Xinhua reported radar contact with the flight was lost while it was in Vietnamese airspace.
If the plane is found to have crashed, the loss would mark the second fatal accident involving a Boeing 777 in less than a year, after an unblemished safety record since the jet entered service in 1995.
Last summer, an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 crash landed in San Francisco, killing three passengers.
I’m sure by now most people have heard about the missing MH370 Boeing 777-200 ER. As a crew member myself I find this story to be very upsetting and the fact that I’m operating a 200 tonight is very distressing. I’ve read many reports this morning and have seen the way people are already assuming the worst. In times like these where faith is shaken and the next hours are uncertain please remember that we crew are trained for *every* possible situation onboard.
My dearest hope is that the plane has ditched somewhere in the ocean, the crew have evacuated, the ELT has been activated, and are patiently waiting to be found. Crew know what our jobs and responsibilities are. We are trained to know what to do for planned and unplanned emergencies, we go through months of arduous training to become qualified to operate these aircraft. This is our job and we live, breath, sleep aircraft safety. We know what to do when things go wrong so please pray that the crew were given the chance to put their emergency training to work.
Please pray for the safe recovery of the crew and pax of this flight. As I carry out my safety and security search tonight onboard my own aircraft tonight my heart and my mind will be full of the thought of my colleagues onboard the missing plane. I know that no matter the outcome of this event they have done their absolute best and I am proud to share the airspace of this Earth with them.
I know this may seem difficult to ask but please also refrain from speculation. I understand that people want to do something to visually show that they are thinking about this event but please think about what you are posting before you click submit. People are already upset by the news without having to add visuals to the situation especially on social media.
I know that they have ditched and have evacuated the aircraft. They are sitting in their life rafts with life jackets on waiting patiently to be found. They have done their duties and it’s our turn to bring them home. Just keep positive thoughts in your mind, and for the safe recovery of our colleagues and their passengers onboard.
Regardless of all speculations, be hopeful and keep praying for their safety and rescue. And please stop blaming one another. Our prayers and thoughts are for the crews and passengers of flight no. MH370. Please make du’a for them, and that may Allah s.w.t. protect them from harm. InsyaAllah. Aamiin.
